Mike has a B.S. in Plant and Soil Science specializing in Environmental Studies. He is a Registered Landscape Architect and Green Roof Professional with 20 years of commercial and residential design/build, nursery production, and soils experience. In addition, over 15 years consulting on growth media for, landscape soils and amendments, engineered soils for bioswales & rain gardens, structural soils for tree pits, nursery production, green roofs, and green walls. He is an active speaker and educator including Adjunct Instructor of Sustainable Landscapes, and Green Roof Design & Construction classes at the College of DuPage. At GreenSite, Mike collaborates with designers, engineers, and contractors on the design and specification of soils, green roofs, and other green infrastructure & stormwater management components of their projects. GreenSite is based in the Chicagoland area.
